The villa is only the start. Here is what can be arranged around it, from Costa Careyes and Las Rosadas to Puerto Vallarta, and how to ask. What each villa offers varies, so we confirm every service in writing before you book.
Services
Many villas on this coast come with a cook who shops at local markets and prepares Mexican and seafood dishes in the villa kitchen. Where a cook is not part of the staff, a private chef may be arranged for a single dinner or for the whole stay, at an extra charge. In the quieter Costa Careyes and Las Rosadas estates, where restaurants are few and far apart, this matters more than it does in Puerto Vallarta. We confirm what your villa includes before you book.
These are private homes with their own staff, and staffing differs from one villa to the next. Larger estates may have a house manager, a caretaker and daily housekeeping; smaller villas may include housekeeping on set days. Each villa page lists what is included. If you need more help, such as extra service days or a babysitter, ask and we will check what the owner can arrange.
Guests staying in Costa Careyes or Las Rosadas usually fly into Manzanillo or Puerto Vallarta and continue by road, a long drive on a quiet coastal highway. For the Puerto Vallarta villas, the city's international airport is close to most neighborhoods. A private transfer from either airport to your villa can be arranged on request, and a driver may be available for dinners or days out. Tell us your flight times and we will advise on the route.
For our Puerto Vallarta villas, a National rental car may be delivered to the villa instead of collected at the airport. Vehicle types, insurance, deposits and delivery times depend on your dates and the rental terms, which we confirm before anything is booked. For Costa Careyes and Las Rosadas, ask us about private transfers instead.
In Puerto Vallarta, private charters on Banderas Bay may be arranged for a morning of snorkeling, a day along the south shore or a sunset sail. On the Costalegre, boat trips to the coves and beaches along the coast may be arranged through local operators. Everything depends on weather, sea conditions and availability, so tell us your group size and the kind of day you have in mind, and we will ask what can be arranged for your dates.
In-villa massage, yoga and other wellness sessions may be arranged at some villas, with a therapist coming to the house. Options are wider in Puerto Vallarta than on the more remote stretches of the Costalegre. Availability varies by villa and season, so ask early if a treatment matters to your stay.
